The Virgin London Marathon
The DRT has 6 wonderful runners taking part in the 2012 Virgin London marathon and our charity bond places have now been filled.

Online Ballot
We recommend that anyone interested in running the Virgin London Marathon to apply early for a ballot place. The ballot entry system will open soon after the 22nd April 2012 race on the Virgin London Marathon website. The ballot will close as soon as 125,000 entries have been received. Often this could be within days or even hours. If you are successful in obtaining a ballot place in the 2013 marathon (announced in October), we hope you will consider running for the DRT.
If you would like to be considered for one of our gold bond charity places in the 2013 Virgin London Marathon, please get in touch below.
Would you like to take part in the 2013 Virgin London Marathon?
The DRT has 5 guaranteed gold bond places for the Virgin London Marathon and we welcome enquiries to join our team.
To register your interest in a guaranteed gold bond place, contact us by email to info@dyslexic.org.uk, telling us more about yourself, any running experience and why you would like to run for us. It would be helpful to know if you have run and raised money for a charity previously. There is no minimum pledge amount - just tell us how much you aim to raise and how you will achieve this. We will contact you after the ballot has been announced. If you are successful you will need to pay a registration of £350 (which covers the cost of your running place).
How the DRT will help you to meet your fundraising goal:
This could be a wonderful opportunity to fulfil a personal goal, raise much needed funds for the DRT and help us to help young people to meet their full potential.
